Sumayyah to serve as agenda and vibe keeper across the two-day event, holding the energy, pace, and psychological safety of the room throughout. Responsibilities include:
Program Delivery — Implement and deliver design elements across varying formats, adapting approach to suit the tone, and intended outcome
Facilitate Activities — Lead individual and group activities including connection, games, sharing and problem solving
Agenda & Time Management — Keep the program on track through transitions, make adjustments, and communicate changes clearly to participants and the planning team
Introductions — Warm, contextualized introductions for leaders and speakers
Crowd & Behavior Management — Serve as point person for managing disruptions, encouraging participation, and holding space for those who may find engagement difficult
Coordination with Event Team — Liaise with AV, logistics, and leadership stakeholders before and during the event to ensure seamless execution
PHASE 1: Design
Establish a strategic foundation by defining what team members should know, feel, and do.
Strategic Alignment: Build a shared narrative to inspire employees and prioritize objectives that benefit most from in-person collaboration.
Data-Driven Design: Analyze past feedback and facilitate leadership sessions to ensure unified messaging.
Project Governance: Develop a comprehensive management plan and consult with internal culture teams to reflect organizational nuances.
PHASE 2: Build
Lead the full build-out of "how" objectives are achieved across all workstreams.
Purposeful Formats: Design team-building activities—such as creative problem-solving and rituals—to build trust and psychological safety.
Vendor Management: Source and coordinate specialized facilitators, ensuring they integrate the event's tone and values
PHASE 3: Assess
Measure success against initial objectives to capture quantitative and qualitative insights.
Real-time Feedback: Design pulse surveys during the event for immediate adjustments.
Stakeholder Debriefs: Lead sessions with key leadership and culture teams to synthesize findings.
Assessment Guide: Deliver a tactical document within 30 days to serve as a foundation for future planning.
